Application of CAS 1067-53-4 Vinyl-tri-(2-methoxyethoxy)-silicane
- Main application areas: glass fiber resin adhesive, cable material, ink, coating, filler
- Usage: Vinyl-tri-(2-methoxyethoxy)-silicane can improve the electrical properties and mechanical strength of EPDM, cross-linked polyethylene, and their polymers or resins filled with inorganic fillers. Especially in the wet state, its performance is more significant. It can be used as a surface treatment agent for clay and inorganic fillers containing silicon, and added by blending method. Vinyl-tri-(2-methoxyethoxy)-silicane can improve the mechanical strength of composite materials such as cross-linked, inorganic filler filled, or reinforced polyester in both dry and wet states. Vinyl-tri-(2-methoxyethoxy)-silicane can reduce the moisture absorption, air permeability, and mechanical strength of cross-linked polyester molding materials. In the application of glass fiber, Vinyl-tri-(2-methoxyethoxy)-silicane can improve the adhesion between fiber monofilament and polyester resin, and improve the performance of composite materials in the wet state.
