Physical and chemical properties

Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid, boiling point: 256 ℃, density（ ρ 20 ℃) g/cm3 0.965-0.975, refractive index n D20 1.4440-1.4490, solubility: soluble in organic solvents, soluble in water, stable in water, hydrolyzed to produce methanol, suitable pH value 9.0-10.0.

Application:

1. This product is a bifunctional coupling agent mainly used to increase the bonding ability of organic materials to inorganic substrate materials, suitable for most organic and inorganic materials.

2. Used extensively as a raw material for the new generation of diamine amino modified silicone oil and various organic silicon super soft finishing agents, the amino functional groups of the coupling agent are bonded to the silicone oil skeleton, which can significantly improve the orientation of organic silicon molecules on the fiber, increase the affinity for the fiber, and endow various fibers with super soft, smooth, drape, anti-static, washable, and wrinkle resistant effects

3. This product is used in silane curing and polysulfide sealants (adhesives). Single and dual component silicone (polysulfide) sealants can be crosslinked (infiltrated) to improve adhesion to substrates (cement, copper, glass, etc.), and there are no bubbles during curing, resulting in a light color system.

4. For the cold hardening resin sand in the casting industry, this product is the best coupling agent among domestic silane. As long as a small amount of silane is added to the resin for self dissolution, the strength of furan sand increases, greatly reducing the amount of resin added and subsequently reducing costs. Therefore, adding this product is a very favorable measure in the casting industry.
