Molecular formula: NaH2PO4,NaH2PO4·H2O,NaH2PO4·2H2O
Molecular weight: Anhydrous substance: 120.01; Monohydrate: 138.01; Dihydrate: 156.01
CAS : Anhydrous substance: 7558-80-7; One water substance: 10049-21-5; Dihydrate: 13472-35-0
Appearance
White crystalline powder or granules. Odorless. Slightly deliquescent. The relative density is 2.04. Melting point 60 ℃. Easy to dissolve in water. Insoluble in ethanol. Heating below 100 ℃, soluble in crystal water to form monohydrate salt. Heating to 100 ℃ results in the loss of crystal water and the formation of anhydrous substance, while further heating leads to the formation of sodium metaphosphate.
