Loratadine CAS 79794-75-5 is a commonly used anti-allergic drug and belongs to the second generation of long-acting tricyclic antihistamines. It has a rapid onset of action, a strong effect, and does not contain hormones. By inhibiting histamine H1 receptor competitively, allergic symptoms caused by histamine are inhibited without significant anticholinergic and central inhibitory effects.
